Tunnel heat press The new 550 series tunnel heat press by Printa Systems (Kirk- land, Wash.) features a tunnel into which a platen slides in and out, reportedly protecting the operator from being exposed to the high temperatures emitted from the heated upper platen. The tunnel also is said to be easy to operate. Weighing approximately 60 pounds, the press is offered in 16" X 16" and 16" X 20" platen sizes with digital heat and timer controls. The pressure is set man- ually. The tunnel can reportedly be used to heat press products up to an inch thick, and in addition to shirts, it is also compatible with mouse pads, all types of award plaques and note pads. Use INFO #491
